The Lushkings (Spike, Hammer, Slice, and Dale Wale) are friends whose passion for music making created the group in 2001. Described by a reviewer as a rock & blues based band influenced by reggae, jazz and country, the Lushkings really do bring these classic genres together in a unique style that's upbeat and enjoyable. TRACKS, their debut album, gives a first look at the band's incredible originality. Lushkings are now actively promoting their second album, CRUSH THINGS, released in September, 2007. Recently, three songs from CRUSH THINGS became part of the HELLDRIVERS soundtrack and supplied the theme for this documentary special currently being broadcast across Canada and burning up screens on the circuit of world film festivals. This was nothing new for the Lushkings, who have two songs from TRACKS in other Award-winning films, including Marion Bridge, the Best Canadian Feature Film at the Toronto International Film Festival, and the beautifully artistic short film Gold. Lushkings are playing clubs and events in Ontario Canada, building on past successes, gaining radio support for their new album, and giving fans lots more of the classic originals and original classics they've come to love!
