Lyfethe Journey Begins
Just as art imitates life, so do Lyfe Don Mekka's past life experiences. The nature of his music evolves from his immersion in the urban hip-hop culture. LYFE was born and raised in the Washington, DC area, and has experienced many ups and downs throughout his years. His music echoes the various experiences that motivate the emotions of pain, faith, love, and freedom. The most influential artist in the music industry that has effected LYFE is the late Tupac Shakur. Shakur influenced LYFEs' understanding of the essence of hip-hop.
