Lynda Maree is a singer/song writer formed around the love of music and what her music could be: what comes out of a blend of musical styles, inspiration, and emotion. She looks at every song as a new form of expression and a new way of facing the world. Lynda comes from a small Northern Ontario town of Chelmsford, just outside of Sudbury, the nickel capital of the world. Although singing since she was just a little girl, Lynda began performing professionally in 1997. Lynda is an extremely versatile vocalist whose projects have ranged from country music, rock, to rhythm and blues. Her strong vocal stylings have earned her opportunities to open concerts for Lace, Diane Chase, Gil Grand and Adam Gregory. Lynda has also been invited to showcase her talent in Sault St Marie (The Canadian), Kitchener and North Bay. Linda and her band have played at outdoor fairs such as Summerfest, North Country Jamboree, New Liskeards, Sutton Bay Park and many more. Together with her song writing partner and husband Steve Belaire, she has created a unique style of original music combining playfulness and passion. In February of 2004, Lynda released her debut self_titled CD, a stunning introduction to her distinctive world. On the brink of a blossoming career, Lynda is charging ahead, full_force, ready to tour non_stop in support of her debut CD. With the release of this record, the road ahead looks promising; the possibilities are endless.
