Through the Faith
Mark DeVille Jobson has been acting and singing his entire life and performed in theatre, cabaret, film, television, radio and commercials. It is singing and music that is his deepest passion, and in 1997 Mark released his first album, What There Is. Two more albums have followed, My House, and the most recent Through The Faith, all of which contain music Mark describes as "songs to both open your heart and engage your mind." Whatever style of music he is singing, from theatre to pop to folk to chants and originals, one thing remains constant: "The songs I love to sing are basically lyric driven, woven with incredible melodies; put them together and the experience is one of pure heart connection. And it's all about THE HEART. That is what I want to offer people when I sing." In 2004 Jobson made his New York cabaret debut, performing his show, Trust the Wind. He has brought the show to Mama Rose's in New York City, The Gardenia Room in Los Angeles, The Mystic Note Cafe in Dallas, The Palmer House in Chicago, Adams Avenue Studio for the Arts in San Diego, Vanessie's in Santa Fe, and First Church's Concert Series in Las Vegas. 'Mark Jobson is a man of great spiritual integrity. To his considerable talent and musical experience, he brings his personal confidence in his oneness with God. This allows him to sing not only from his heart but from Spirit as well. Mark has the uncanny ability to bring forth deep meaning from every song he performs. Even with familiar pieces, I feel as if I am hearing the Truth in them for the very first time. Mark sings Love, Life, Light, Joy and Peace.'
