Product Notes

My comments and purpes for the music. Soft, easy, listening, pop like, Jazz pictures, emotions of a New Landscape And yet so familiar, it is a mixture of blood, sweat, and tears. The instrument's that embedded the Values in the deep tradition of Jazz, As washed away, the dust of the field's became, uplifted and maintained, their spirit. Fortunately for us, through continues need of expression, and the eagerness, to seek the New, and develop the Old, these people capture the hearts of us all. It is with respect to that, and hard work that I created a place in my Heart, which I like to share with you all. A place which I call home, full of tenderness, emotions, filled with pictures of tomorrow, taken from yesterdays, a place which I hope, you too, will call home. Steve Swallow had to say about my CD: Congratulations on a very fine piece of work. It is obvious that you put a great deal of thought and effort into this project, and with good reason. I found it well conceived, well written, well played. I took great pleasure in listening to your work, and I thank you for sending it to me. I certainly appreciate the great difficulties you must have encountered realizing this project; I hope you will continue to do what's necessary to produce such excellent music. Again, thanks very much for sending me your CD, and congratulations Alphonse Mouzon had to say about my CD: 'Markos Tomaras' CD is very exciting, interesting and has great musicianship!' Have a great year and keep the faith. I hope all goes well for you and your music. Peace, Alphonse Abraham Laboriel had to say about my CD: Exellent,i enjoing very much listening to it well conceived good bless you i wish you good luck with your endavors. In title TOO MUCH TOO LATE Is the Balkans the next Horizon to be explored by the Worlds first? Ethnic Music structure, that kept the Hopes, and dreams of the Black People of America a live? The events on this CD prove that not only is it possible, it is happening. Though the plurality of Jazz Harmony, and the spirit that propelled all The grate pioneers of Jazz, the need to push the envelope on notch higher For the realization of that unheard sound, that new musical Fraise, rhythm, the opened minded approach, the respect to the art of Music. This are the same values that we keep close to the heart, thus the ground For the perfect fusion, it seems to have being set by the Cosmos. The cross roads of the Balkans, the way that Jazz greatness has touch our Soul, when at the same time we project the intricacy of our perspective It is done with respect, and clear conscious. This is where The Balkans meet N.Y. and L.A., this is an effortless listening, and pleasant, one that is closely related to flipping through a picture album, rather then listening to a CD.
