Martin Pals was born in Leeuwarden, Holland. Already in his youth he loved old music and especially the lute. However he started playing in a hardcore punkband called M.O.G. After he lost interrest in rockmusic he took lessons from lute player Lex van Sante and started composing and performing with his lute. On the CD Visions, Martin not only plays Lute but also Mandola, Daburka and a Drum. He composed all the music and played all these instruments himself. Wow. It is simply wonderful that new compositions like this are being created. Wish I could download them somehow for my iPod. Good luck to you with your compositions and ideas.Theo Johanna Maria Rose said... Martin! These are so beautiful! Did you write all of them? I love them--have you made a CD?
