With the old Norwegian folk instrument, the hardangerfiddle, Martíne brings the old cultural heritage closer to our many and varied music scenes. Her aim as a composer and musician is to create music that makes her listeners feel more alive. Sometimes she writes to give her compositions a certain kind of quality and find great challenge to cultivate a sound, meanwhile, the majority of her music is created without program or boundaries, where the compositions comes to life through her energy and motivation to make sound, express herself and play, inspiration is life itself. She loves mixing different musical genres and experimenting with dissimilar rhythm and tonality effects.
