The four and a half song release is the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of a new musical journey that Miller has been preparing for since he first picked up a guitar at age 11. Matt Miller offers a fresh new sound to a music industry strangled by repetition. His high-energy performances have turned heads and attracted audiences from NYC to L.A. to Rome, Italy. With a sound influenced by rock n' roll acts across the board, Miller can lighten any tired audience. Throughout his four years at American University, Matt played at local colleges and bars, building a name for himself in the DC metropolitan area. In 2005, fresh out of college, Matt took to the road playing shows in eight states on the East Coast. He further expanded his musical prowess that year by playing bass for a touring DC-based rock band, and subsequently forming the band 'Maverick', for which he sang lead and played lead guitar. While in Rome, Italy, Matt played a series of shows at a local bar in the Trastevere neighborhood with great success. After building a steady following, Matt's final show in Rome was ended early due to an excessive crowd turnout. Since arriving in Hollywood a year ago, Matt has already booked a monthly gig at the legendary Whisky A Go-Go, started a four piece band, worked with veteran songwriters and musicians and has been asked to play weekly acoustic gigs in a local coffeeshop.
