(Duplicated CD, Extended Play)
Matt Sucich with The Vanderettes' sincere vocal harmonies and soft arrangements will silence any crowd, with a nod to vintage reverb & classic country merely scratching the surface of their diverse musical influences. For the last ten years Matt Sucich has been collecting musicians and storing them in his pocket for a rainy day. That thunderstorm is overhead and he is ready to show what he's been crafting and creating all this time. The band, all from Brooklyn, has had many inceptions but the one constant Matt relied on was his family band roots. The Vanderettes are comprised of a husband and wife, a brother, a father and three best friends. It's just your average fairytale. In a musical age saturated with fusion bands without direct influence, MS with the V's is a refreshing combination of pop harmonies, vintage country, and scratchy guitar embellishment. Matt's songwriting is a bucolic journey through the sanctity of, well, love. Love lost, love needed, love found...mixed in with some surf guitar and country viola.
