Growing up in a family with deep musical roots, Megan Linville had no other path to follow but the one that led to Nashville's famed Music Row. Her grandfather penned songs for the likes of Roy Orbison, Charley Pride, Billy Walker, Jerry Lee Lewis and Brenda Lee. While a senior in high school, Megan made a commitment to pursue a career in country music although she had always known that country was where her heart was. The summer after high school graduation found Megan writing with some of Nashville's gifted songwriter's and building a catalog of original songs that identified her unique sassy, female-empowering, fun country style. She also began performing writer's nights and showcasing with a 'power-packed' band in several of Nashville's music venues. In August of 2007, she got the opportunity to work with talented John Carter Cash, son of June and Johnny Cash. The resulting CD, produced at the famed Cash Cabin Studio, was both an exciting professional and personal milestone for Megan. Hope you can take a few minutes and check out the results of this musical endeavor.
