Michael started playing guitar at the age of 12. Some of his influences have been Lynard Skynard, Van Halen, Rush, Ben Bolt, ZZ Top, Toby Keith and David Lee Murphy. He has formed many bands throughout his career. Such as Virgin Wolf, Visions Redline Illusions, Zoa and Teezer. In 1989, he toured the Philippines for six weeks while working on his degree in Psychology at Carson Newman College in Tennessee. While in Tennessee he performed around the area. When he returned to Florida he formed his band Teezer, which created a huge following. After 3 years with Teezer, Michael decided to go off on his own and work on his own CD project. His album consists of many diverse styles. The words from Michael's songs came from many personal experiences and what his heart was feeling. His music has a way of touching people by mesmerizing them completly. Because his words are about things that have happened to them or are of issues of what is happening in today's world. The song You And Me is about how it only takes the people to make a change in the world. Your Money is about trying to buy love with money and finding out it doesn't work. I Wonder was written during Hurricane Frances and a love affair going bad. The Window is about how all people are created in the image of God. Johnny Little is a resumé of Michael's life. It Takes A Good Woman is about how a man becomes complete. Never Say Never is about not giving up on a relationship, you hold on til the end. Don't Ever Let Go is about one of the biggest killers in the world, Depression. True Love is about finding that love that everyone is looking for. The Hands Of Time was written about a personal experience of Michael's and how we all wish at times we could turn back the clock. My Father Has Spoken was written about Michael's father after his passing and is dedicated to the family. Michael still has many songs to be recorded, but until then his main focus will always be on the people and how they make everyone become one in this world.
