Here comes the hotstepper. He's the lyrical gangsta. He's Mike Macharyas-the man that's made a career out of doing absolutely nothing and luring young, unassumming pop fans into the world of crazy, bizarre, ambient horseshit. Can't nobody say they've duped an entire society quite like Macharyas has. And it ain't like he don't say right away what he's doing. Y'all just fall for it! Here's where we're supposed to tell you about how much Mike has grown as an artist, and how this album is a major departure from his previous works. BUT IT AIN'T! It's totally the same f***in' album, just with different names and slightly different music in the background. Shockingly enough, with this knowledge, y'all STILL gonna buy this shit. He's kinda like Laurie Anderson, or maybe Frank Zappa. With NNMaddox's incredible production, the Macharyas ball keeps on f***in rollin'. Check out that bitchin' Woody Allen impression on 'Soon-Yi Previn.' 'Klaus Nomi' is kickass too, featuring backing vocals by (H)aig. 'Bono' is a straight up masterpiece, the way it's all sing-songy. Almost sounds like a f***in' brat kid singing 'na na na na boo boo' and sticking his tongue out. And really, who the F*** is doing songs about 'Anderson Cooper' and 'Bob Barker'. That crazy bitch, Mike Macharyas. What a f***in' maniac.
