7 Year Detour
Tom and I met briefly at a music workshop, he was one of the teachers and I was an eager student wanting to learn more about music. He liked my songs and said we\'d have to get together at some point to see what would happen if we blended our styles...I grew up loving the Monkees, Beatles, Heart and Bon Jovi, and he digs Jazz and Blues and he got me into Eric Clapton and B.B. King...so, when we started writing togetehr...We got Mix Mosh Posh out of it all, by Tom saying \'what kind of mix mosh mess is this stuff anyway?...And ta dah...our \'band name\' was created. Then, it too us 7 long years to achieve making the album, which of course became the name of our album...which we could not have done without our co-writer and friend and Magical Musical Man...Terry Carleton! Our favorite song on the album is the one we wrote for my daughter, when she was feeling some extreme peer pressure in school...called You\'re Not the Center of the Universe! It is the most popular song with most people who hear the album as well. We can totally see it performed by \'Hanna Montana!\' I hope you enjoy all the tracks...thanks for listening, Candy.
