Freedom from Want
Model M was formed in December 1994 founded by lead front-man Terrance. Model M began touring the small venue circuit and eventually they made a name for themselves. They had began to create a following, selling out shows in the process. By 1997 it was easy for them to pack the house with crowds of 200 or more. In 1999 Model M released their first full length CD THE KILLING GODS containing most of their material from 1996-1999. They received good reviews from critics and the press alike. On Halloween 1999 they opened for Malhavoc and put on an amazing show, but unfortunately, that was to be their last live show until. The band needed a break from the performances and each other, so they split up to pursue their own interests. Many of the members went on to form their own bands or to just do their own solo projects. In august 2001 Terrance vacationed to Cuba where he was imprisoned for several months, he was arrested for treason. During his sentence he made the most of his time by writing songs for a new album in his head. When he was released he returned to Canada and within year his new Model M album Freedom From Want was complete. Now that the new album was complete he sought out for new members. After one year with no luck it finally came to him in the form a snow-ball hitting his truck. The gunman was Ryshard Fellmeth (bassist). After a short quarrel a new friendship was soon formed. It was shortly after that Ryshard introduced Terrance to Dane Williams (Guitarist a.k.a. Rock star). Model M was re-incarnated and stronger than ever.
