Frame By Frame
Moving Picture Show is a johnny-come-lately melting snowball, organic, and born and bred from the City of Angels herself. Chronically influenced from luminaries like David's Bowie and Byrne to Leonard Cohen, Moving Picture Show is a school bus sing-a-long if the Police, Peter Gabriel, Danny Elfman, and the Cars we're all in 1st grade together. It is widely whispered that none of the group played in high school band but our heroes stamp out this nasty gossip with a rowdy salvation army-esque marching band at every show that is a swift kick to the chest and senses to all on-lookers and well-wishers. Matt is the car crash baritone and guitar monger. Amy is the sweet girl-next-door keyboard prodigy who accepts valentines by appointment only. Jared is the shell-shocked visionary and savante on all things drums. Jeremy is house rogue, bassist, and continental. Their wish is simple: to make you spasm, shout, and drop your jaw with their songs, spirit, and fierce joy that could make your over-stimulated world-weary heart forget itself for a moment and pound a little harder. Moving Picture Show has just completed a full-length LP, Frame by Frame, which has had airplay in LA on INDIE 103.1, XM Satellite Radio as a band to watch, and was also recently featured in MTV's shows Wanna Come In? and Score. Their music is soon to be heard in an upcoming National Lampoon film, as well. The group continues to turn heads in Las Vegas and Los Angeles at The Viper Room, Spaceland, The Derby, and The Mint.
