Love Will Survive
Born in Jamaica, 'the home of Reggae,' Mutti Lewis grew up in the shadows of political violence, tribal war, poverty, and social injustice. Himself a revolutionary, it was his desire to carry on the efforts of the great revolutionaries before him that inspired him to use music as both the medium of and the catalyst for social consciousness and political change. Mutti grew up in Glendevon Hendon, in the city of Montego Bay, Jamaica. Before migrating to the U.S., Mutti worked in Jamaica withthe band called 'Rabbonie' which later changed it's name to 'Mana.' In 1997, he succesfully recorded his first solo album. After getting airplay, the album caught the attention of movie producer, Justin King, who used the title cut, 'Righteous Vampire' on the sound track for his 2002 movie 'Tommy Hobson.' Mutti¡'s music is a spiritual amalgamation of love and hope inspired by his recognition and appreciation of the blessings he has received from The Most High. As he looks back on life, he realizes that the struggles he encountered on this journey instilled in him the character that, through his music, he uses to inspire others to never give up. By the help of Jah, Mutti Lewis will continue to bring forward earth shaking experiences with the message of Love, Truth, and Righteousness. HOW GREAT IT WOULD BE TO SEE... EACH ONE REACH ONE, EACH ONE TEACH ONE, EVERY MAN LOVE AND RESPECT ONE ANOTHER. JAH GUIDE One Love - Mutti Lewis.
