2017 release. Na(c)htodreis is the seventh long player by Eden Weint I'm Grab and at the same time their first concept album. The 15 songs resemble a journey through the beyond and the underworld, just like the Divine Comedy by Italian poet Dante Alighieri. Every track represents a station on an imaginary map of the afterworld. Music and lyrics were composed to convey the different moods in equal measure. The foundation is forceful dark metal with catchy hook lines and massive riffing power, which however gains the character of chamber music by the application of violins, violas and cellos. Eden Weint I'm Grab was founded as Alexander Paul Blake´s solo project in 2002. Over the years a real band grew which started to play live more and more resulting in performances on festivals like Wave-Gotik-Treffen, M'era Luna, Castle Rock, Darktroll or Rock For Roots as well as touring with bands like Nachtblut and Coppelius. The band itself characterizes it's music as "heavy metallic gothic romanticism".
