Ned Rifken heads up his own classic jazz combo made up of top musicians handpicked from the Los Angeles area. The quartet has made many appearances and is one of the most sought after bands in Los Angeles. This is Ned's first CD called "No Worries" featuring Ned's original song of the same title. The CD features songs from a variety of genres, including jazz, pop, broadway, rock and blues. The common denominator is, of course, Ned Rifken's fantabulous voice. The combo highlights the talents of: John Rangel (keyboards) Nedra Wheeler (bass) David 'Bulldog' Libman (drums) Also featured is legendary actor/artist/comedian/musician Martin Mull playing guitar on Ned's version of Martin's song "Flexible.' And, to top it off, Ned digs deep into his childhood and brings back the memorable chart topper and cult favorite of 1959 the Nutty Squirrels' song "Uh-oh" while at the same time reminding you of why you don't need to hear highly compressed voices in jazz in order to love it. "My mission is to make jazz as fun as it was originally intended. How I feel when I sing is how I want to live my life," says Ned. "If I can inspire others to feel the same way, then I've achieved my goal."
