Product Notes

The New Suitors formed in a garage in Stillwater, OK with one thing in mind. That one thing is playing solid, American music. Of course, to each his own, but the Suitors are out to make something music fans can believe in. Nothing manufactured or pitch-corrected, the New Suitors are an authentic, heart's on fire rock and roll band. With influences from Zeppelin to Petty to Ryan Adams to Hank Williams, to Bob Marley you'll hear a solid Americana mix at a Suitors show, but the heart of the band is in rock and roll. The two member group plays a two man acoustic show for the more subdued Sunday through Wednesday crowds, but calls in the back-up and fires up the amps when the occasion calls for an all out rocking experince. Josh Pryor, from Papua New Guinea drives the rythym and harmony, while Ty Wick handles the guitar and vocal parts. Yeah, you'll hear some covers at the show, but the New Suitors are no cover band. Ty writes the original material including all 10 songs on the forth coming, debut release by the band. The freshman disc was recorded at Phil Pritchett's Trinidad World Recordings in Ft. Worth, TX and was produced by Phil himself. The release date is Dec 15 '06 at which time the New Suitors will be in your neighborhood in support of the brand new disc.
