NFM Hailing from Guadalajara,Mexico, NFM delivers their stunning blend of smooth Spanish Pop with rock and alternative for a radio friendly sound that is just on the cutting edge yet at home on any mainstream Spanish Pop station. NFM consists of Jose Montes De Oca who's passionate and soaring vocals drive the music. Jimmy Nimra Velazquez is the other half of NFM, providing drums and sequencer porgramming. NFM slos includes Javier Magallanes on guitar. Together, they provide a musical landscape that breaks across musical genres for mass appeal. Initially, the band recorded a full length CD under the name of Nefalim. They toured Northern and Southern California, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Chicago, Illinois, and even returned home to Guadalajara, Mexico for a few show dates. The single 'Leyenda Sin Final' had a video that received airplay and laso chaeted across the nation various stations reporting to Radio and Records in the Alternative/Latin format. They won significant awards in Los Angeles and San Diego for the music they did as Nefalim. At the end of 2005, the band gad grown and chaged musically. The music they were creating was ushering in a fresh new sound that was significantly different from the way the first CD sounded. They felt as thought they had entered a new era. The difference in the new material from the old material compelled the band in 2006 to change their mane from Nefalim to NFM. 2006 finds NFM poised to go to the next level, musically and professionally. Without a recording contract or any label ties for the second CD, NFM is available for the offer that will be best for them, their music, and the people that like it. NFM influences are electronica such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Moenia and Velanova.
