Eternal Life-The Party Album
This may sound crazy, but I wanted to do a conceptual parody album about heaven. I wanted to convey where God is, in perfect glory. But I also wanted to build up anticipation of things to come. There will be unspeakable joy. There will be a rising up of history's unknown heros. There will be one huge family reunion uniting all races, eras, and specific musical preferences. And there will be LAUGHTER, tons of it -- at mankind's failings, in light of God's eternal grace. Parody songs include 'Get Canonized a Saint' (parody of 'Fly Away' by Lenny Kravitz), 'Evangelize' (parody of 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor), 'Therese of Lisieux' (parody of Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant) and 'We Want to Stand United' (We Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel). The album ends on an original prayerful tune, 'Too Late Have I Loved You', based on the writings of St. Augustine.
