Nima Haddadi is a classically trained pianist who started playing piano at the early age of 4 and started writing his own music at the age of ten. He has ranked number one in some of the nation's most selective piano competitions. He was previously signed to an electronic label in Europe making drum and bass hits in nightclubs. Recently, he has released 'the Heroin Skinny' tracks featuring Katia, inspired by the works of Portishead and Radiohead. Currently, Nima has set aside time for a piano based project called 'the Journal'. 'The Journal' consists of an ongoing array of classically influenced compositions with a new style of his own. Influenced by the works of Yann Tiersen, Eric Satie and classical music's greatest, he brings about a new genre of classical musicians. This CD submission includes is a composition of his greatest works from both 'the Heroin Skinny' and 'the Journal' albums.
