Nothing Remains the Same
Noel Beasley is from New Zealand. Lives in Mt Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty. Noel has played in bands and been involved in theatre all his life. Music and theatre have seen him play in a variety of bands over the years and act and sing in major opera productions like 'Jesus Christ Superstar" to "West Side Story". Even play the King in the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" at Baycourt in Tauranga. Noel released his first album in 1994 with "The Kaimai Cowboys" who took New Zealand by storm and got a lot of airplay in New Zealand and Australia. The "Cowboys" can still be heard on radio in New Zealand on National Radio and some country radio stations today. On becoming a born again Christian in 1992 Noel has gone in a new direction of gospel music which has developed and an album of the psalms was released in 2001, "The Lord Lives". Noels heart is not only to bless the church but also to crossover into the secular realm and be accessible to the secular audience. "Nothing Remains The Same" is a strong step in this direction. Released in 2006 this album of 8 songs has been accepted by Christians and non-Christians as well. The mix is classic rock tinged with Texas influenced Kiwi country of the "Kaimai Cowboys" style. The players on the album are all local musicians working in the Bay of Plenty and the album was recorded at "The Boatshed" and "The Lounge". Two local studios in the Bay engineered by Nigel Masters and Jim Coles. Noel does vocals, plays guitar and produced the album. There have been good reviews locally from papers and the music retailers have got behind him in promoting and are selling the album. Noels heart is that the message of God's great love for the world in Jesus Christ His Son is the only answer for this worlds problems. Indeed that this is the true meaning why we are all here in this world. To be reconciled back to a Holy, Faithful and Loving God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.
