Somebody Better Have My Money
Somebody Better Have My Money is the third release for South Florida's favorite party band the Nucklebusters. After 20 years of popularity in one of the top music markets in the world, their brand of funky and high energy blues, has made them a top draw at the finest clubs and biggest festivals in the area, including the legendary Musicians Exchange, and 15 appearances at the Riverwalk blues fest. With over 1000 gigs under their belt and a following of nuckleheads, this band is tighter than O.J.'s glove and swings like Tarzan. The popular song "ex-wife" (called "expert funk" by Blues Review magazine) shows the bands sense of humor, and has become somewhat of a local anthem. The 14 song, 1 hour plus disc is a well produced, fast paced mix of original songs, and interesting covers that showcase the range and musicianship of this talented group. Keyboard magazine called Hammond organist Joe Saint "tasty and melodic". Blues Review magazine called the band "awesome" and said guitarist Frank Ward "exhibits beautiful tone, good feel, and uncluttered lines that display harmonic complexity". Great sound, fun songs and excellent musicians make this a must have disc for everyone.
