Formed in the mid 90's, Oracle consisted of the three original members, Richard Lodge (vocals), Kyle Lichey (guitar), and Brandon Etter (bass). The band mainly jammed and wrote songs with Rich delivering the vocals from behind the drum set. The three recorded and released Oracle's first album, The Orange Couch, while still in high school. After attending their respective freshmen years in different colleges, the trio regrouped in the summer of 2001, this time signing on Chuck Darling as the lead guitarist and Kevin Brosch on drums, allowing Richard to focus all his efforts on the vocals and the rest of the band to explore their creative potential. In the summer of 2002 the new revamped Oracle released it's first album as a quintet. A self titled 7-track EP consisting of rewritten tracks off of The Orange Couch. The band members have all relocated themselves in central Ohio, primarily at the Ohio State University, where they are currently promoting their sound by consistently booking, promoting, and playing shows.
