With roaring guitar riffs and contagious vocal hooks, Parallel's songs explode from the speakers with a sound reminiscent of the alt-rock glory days of the mid-nineties. The variety of influences is evident, as screaming power chords share equal album time with moving, poignant ballads. The result is a refreshingly honest brand of music that's easy to listen to and almost impossible to remove from a playlist. The five-member band has rocked over 600 venues across the country, including CBGB in New York City and the Hard Rock Café in Fort Lauderdale, as well as festivals such as Food Lion's Speed Street and the Continental Tire Bowl. Their 4th album, Superhero Madness, was co-produced by famed producers John Kurzweg and David Cox, who has also worked with artists Puddle of Mudd, Creed, Semisonic and Jewel. Superhero Madness is a compliation of Arena Rock tracks such as \'Back Down\' and \'Love is Gone\' followed by more emotional tracks as \'If you Believe\' and \'Anymore\'. Parallel\'s follow up to \'Black Dress\' is sure to please current Parallel fans and attract new listerns to the cause.
