Patti Hill comes from London, Ontario where she started making music from a young age. Her church background provided opportunities to sing in choirs, trios and worship teams in London as well as Winnipeg. More recently Patti has appeared as a soloist, accompanying herself on piano. Patti loves to sing songs that have ministered to her own heart and has been especially inspired by the music of Annie Herring, Matthew Ward and Crystal Lewis. Her most significant musical influence has been Kelly Willard and it is her songs that inspired Patti to write her own material. Patti recorded her debut CD entitled 'Glory to God' as a result of winning studio time through Bandsearch 2000 in Toronto. This CD has several original songs as well as some favorite old hymns that Patti has arranged in her distinctive musical style. Her second CD 'Good Intentions' had been in the works for a long time before it's release in 2003. The songs, having been written over the course of 12 years, reflect her own journey of faith. This CD showcases Patti's warm mellow voice and at times hint at a Diana Krall sound. The title track won for best original song in UCB Canada's Talent Quest contest in October 2004. Patti's passion and prayer is that the songs she writes and performs would stir the soul and draw the listener closer to Jesus.
