In a heroic act to counter the tendency in our society to standardize the culture that overrides commercial criteria to the content and purpose of music, PDA, a Portuguese band from Zambujal-Loures, situated in the outskirts of Lisbon, assume themselves as visionaries of a future in which freedom of expression and respect for the difference are the preponderant values. Despite of the extreme competition of the market and the monopoly of the big publishing companies, these three friends (Ayuaska Ayash, Psydin and Benito Gunz) joined efforts and bet in the creation of a publishing structure (GangBang Records), so that they can give voice to their daily experiences and a new meaning to the word 'independent'. P.D.A. was formed in the year of 1998 with Psydin, Wize Deamon, Mc King and B-Jay. In 1999 Ayuaska Ayash joined the group, staying from the original formation Psydin and Wize Deamon. Benito Gunz joined in 2005 and finally Dj_v3 in 2006. They now present their first album, intitled "Genuíno" that it is a faithful register of a reality where the law of the strongest substitutes the force of the human values and where, for times, the indifference and the social apathy dictate the exclusion of who was born in the wrong side of the city. Far from any ideological, political, religious or racial criteria, 'Genuíno' is a manisfesto of who only needs an opportunity to show it's value.
