PERFEKT & Chance arrive on the scene with a lyrical onslaught like no other. "Forget the beat and listen to me" Perfekt boasts as he blazes through tracks or accapella. Backed by his long time homie Chance on production, the duo breathe life back into hip hop avoiding the highly saturated crack rap. With a determination to be heard the duo are definitely a force to be reckoned with inside the music industry. Chance born in Trinidad and Perfekt born in Brooklyn NY met in the Streets of New York through a mutual friend. The 2 have been working together for 10 years. Both with a passion for music, decided to combine their talents to create projects that would separate them from your ordinary rap act. With projects like (For the Love of the Game) the two tell their story of everyday life while persuing their spot as 2 of Hip Hops noticeables. While keeping their mass appeal for the project the 2 kept the streets buzzing with their mixtape S.O.N.Y (Streets of New York). Plagued with the fallout of business partners and your everyday distractions, the 2 decided to move forward on their own and work on new Projects. Now residing in BOSSTOWN, PERFEKT & CHANCE bring you their first single (Northern Hostility). Produced by Chance, who decided to stray from the microphone 6 years ago and put his focus on production, has been the sound behind the lyrical thrashing of Perfekt for the last 6 years and assisting with gaining commercial radio play on Boston's own WILD 97.7 FM. The single to be followed up by BOSSTOWN the mixtape, will be the prequel to the debut album Nobody's PERFEKT currently in the finishing stages. Perfekt & Chance have recorded promos for the likes of Boston's own Chief Rocker Moe Dee and David H for their Hot 7 at 7 and Inferno Mix shows, Smash Squad Representative Dru Nice, Power 104.1 Hartford CT's Chubby Chub, and Chuck Dogg from Power 105.1 in NYC. They have also performed at many venues such as Crazy Sam's Uptown Hip Hop Showcase, NY's Greekfest, the World Famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, The Rap Off at the Strand Theatre in Boston, MASS Art, Vivid Night Club and more. They have performed with and opened for acts such as Queen Pin, Loon, Da Band, Black Rob, JR Writer and most recently Papoose. They have also done segments on BCAT's Street Knowledge and Rap for Cash in Brooklyn NY as well as radio appearances on L.I.U. Radio and Brooklyn Radio in NYC.
