Http://www.myspace.com/primalcircus Primal Circus is a progressive hard rock band that came to rise in 2007 when vocalist and rhythm guitarist Zach May decided to pursue his own musical path. After joining up with bassist Walker Nelson, drummer Matt Lancaster, and lead guitarist Nate Moore, the band has been in constant motion and performing all over the Dallas/FT Worth area. The band is fused by it's combination of melodic, heavy instrumentals and aggressive, yet diverse vocals. Primordium is their debut EP armed with standout tracks such as ''Bitter End'' and ''Break Free'' which is creating a big stir in the hard rock pot between fans, bands and friends alike. The four piece band resides around the Dallas area, influenced by a large array of bands such as Tool, Faith no More, Dream Theater, King Crimson, The Foo Fighters, and 311. The band's music is evoked from influences and elements surrounding them and uses that as their musical outlet designed to go beyond standard rock. Primordium was recorded at Fort Worth Sound by recording engineer Bart Rose. The band is planning to return to work with Bart in the fall of 2009 and begin working on their highly anticipated full length album that will be set to release in the near future. Primal Circus is continuing to promote their 4 song EP Primordium and lining up shows throughout Texas and Oklahoma, sharing the stages with some of the most talented and accomplished bands that Dallas, Tx. has to offer.
