Waking Up the Storm
Waking up the Storm became a Middle-east, Mid-west collaboration. It began when ideas were taken and recorded in a bomb shelter in Haifa, then a studio in the Jordan Valley, and another in small town Illinois. Some of Psalm\'s most intriguing and personal songs were written in Jerusalem during the intensity of the Middle East conflicts. Rather unexpectedly, the songs are not political. They are lyrically based with Middle-eastern overtones - minor keys that don't take themselves too seriously. About Psalm...Psalm is a girl, not a band. She lives in the Middle-East, near some sheep, and tells stories of time, prophecy, the desert. This is some of where it comes from...
