Incorporating the elements of celtic folk, progressive rock and a distinctive vocal harmony reminiscent of CSN, this newly formed band, who would later be named The Puddle Jumpers, were made up of some of the most gifted studio musicians/vocalists in the area at the time. The group played extensively in the local Seattle area for the next six years, with their live debut performance held at the NW FolkLife Festival in 1996. Playing to a capacity crowd of over 4,000 music fans at Seattle Center (under the Space Needle), the band broke a NW FolkLife sales record for the most CDs sold during a live performance. The group continued to record and perform until they disbanded in 2001. Although the band is no longer together, the music of The Puddle Jumpers remains just as vibrant and relevant in today's turbulent world as it was the day it was recorded.
