Ra. Logan Songs Quatraine 1
Chicago native R.A. Logan began his musical exploits as a sophomore in the Carver High School Band studying saxophone. After H.S. graduation Logan switched his interest to keyboard instruments, and to get some more advanced music training studied music at the American Conservatory of Music, the Chicago Conservatory of Music and Columbia College. During the 70's and 80's Logan toured and played in back-up bands for such Chicago Artist like the Brighter Side of Darkness( Love Jones), Lolita Holloway (Hit and Run), Alvin (Twine-Time) Cash, also with Bluesman like, Artie (Blues Boy) White, Eddie C. Campbell, L.V. Johnson and the Black Lone Ranger. R.A. Logan also played in many local Chicago bands including a Christian Rock Band. In the 1990's Logan took some time off to do more original compositions. Now having written a number of original songs, this CD is the first of a series of CD Quatraines he hopes you will enjoy. Logan's R&B roots are a heavy influence on the music and his formal music training is evident in some of the arrangements. The CD's supporting cast of talented vocalist and Chicago's hot NuBlu band helps bring on an old-school feel for this Chicago-Style R&B.
