Radio Hour EP
'The Radio Hour - EP' is a 5-song studio project from Chicago-based singer songwriter Tim Hort. ('THE RADIO HOUR -EP' is a 5 song release.) Centerstage Chicago called his first CD "a solid collection of pop rock gems". CMJ's New Music Report endorses the band "The Radio Hour" as it's 'A&R PICK.' The sound might interest fans of Pink Floyd, "Animals," "The Wall," or Peter Gabriel "Up," "Us, or Smashing Pumpkins or Arcade Fire - but with an acoustic feel. Chicagogigs.com describes THE RADIO HOUR as "a mix of dreamlike musings and melancholy stories, dynamic guitars and masterful lyrics..." The CD is self-produced and D.I.Y. The CD was engineered by Blaise Barton (credits include Bob Dylan, Ike Reilly and Liz Phair). The Capital Journal Times - Madison writes, "confessional lyrics, melodic hooks and a dark and sometimes pyschedelic spin. That's Chicago's Radio Hour."
