Product Notes

It takes but one listen to Rafael Cameron's new gospel CD Right Off The Pages Vol.1,his 3rd,to recognize this artist is completely comfortable singing different styles of music moving from pop ballads to reggae to calypso with relative ease.Cameron,a singer-songwriter-producer, who lives in Brooklyn NY,was born in Guyana,South America and moved to the US nearly 30 years ago.He first gained national and international fame with 3 albums he released on Salsoul Records in the early 80s.He sounds like a cross between Stevie Wonder, his favorite vocalist, and George Benson. His first album Cameron sold nearly 400,000 units and is still selling, as well as his 2nd, Cameron's In Love, which did similar numbers. His 3rd, Cameron All The Way did not do well and in the midst of recording his 4th album Salsoul folded. Cameron has toured extensively in the US and Europe with such notables as CAMEO,Rick James,Teena Marie,Stacy Lattisaw and McFadden and Whitehead.Cameron gave his life to the LORD in 1995 and attends Restoration Temple AOG in Brooklyn. His first gospel CD is I'm New In Christ Jesus and his 2nd is THE Heart which features the popular BENFITS.
