Coming Over the Line
I was born in Toronto, Ontario, grew up in the city and had a cottage on Lake Simcoe, where the family went almost every weekend, had campfires and good food, played the guitar around the firepit.I moved to Europe, where I meet alot of musicians,my favorite guitarist, great on lead, was a Greek named Harry Metzel. We worked together for a company that made and sold Exhibition stands, so after work we pulled out our instruments and amps and just jammed. Our boss loved music, he just said, 'don't forget to lock up when you leave'. I seemed to find the chords and the words, and so it happened, I started writing songs, mostly about what I had experienced.I am back in Canada, and still composing songs and lyrics,my connections to Europe are still at hand.
