'Redline-Der Rote Faden', 5 young musicians from Munich, present powerful German rock which can not easily be categorized. RedLine play hard rock, but mix their music with influences of punk, metal, electronics and even pop to a powerful whole. The lyrics are catchy, intriguing, ironically, wild and satiric at the same time. Founded in 2006 by Andy (guitar), Carry (drums), Ricq (vocals) and Smuf (bass), the band already has an eventful history. After recording the first EP, the band was joined by FaB on the Keyboards and the final cast was found, the redLine sound was born. Since then redLine played numerous concerts where they could appeal a broader audience. In April 2007, redLine's song 'Freier Fall' (Free Fall) appeared on the sampler 'Rockin 'Munich Vol. II', which was produced by Anko Music. After the inspiring cooperation during the recordings of 'Freier Fall' and 'Silberträne' redLine began to record their first album in May 2007 with producer Heiko Hinze in the Anko Music Studios in Munich. Their album is called 'Pure Liebe' (Pure Love) and includes 12 exciting songs, which show that rock with German lyrics can be provocative and very exciting. The CD was highly acclaimed by German reviewers and fans. Line-Up: Carry - drums Andy - guitar Ricq - vocals Smuf - bass FaB - keyboards.
