On June 13, 1978 a great Visionary was born by the name of Ricardo D. Gill, his family not knowing then that he would be such a great success showered him with much love and prayers, even as a child, he played the drums first and then went to the Keyboard. As, Rico got older he began to lean on the Lord and trust in him, he really had no choice because his mother-Prophetess Angela Gill trained him up in the way of holiness and she was not going to have it any other way, and by doing so, God planted a vision in his heart that nobody knew about but Rico and God, it first started out as an idea or thought in the mind of Rico and then it traveled to his heart and then it was introduced to the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. Two years ago, The Shekinah Project became a reality, it was no longer a dream or thought, it was now real, dreams do come true especially when it is in the will of God. Many miles have been traveled and many more will be traveled. Their main goal is to reach the lost and hurting through their music and bring them to Christ especially the Young people. This group truly has a message for world that states that Jesus is our everything and the answer to all of our problems. There is nothing too hard for God. All of their songs are original songs written to reach everybody. We are here today to celebrate Rico Gill and The Shekinah Project on the release of their first CD entitled....'A Chosen Vessel'.
