Love Life Music
Music began for RJ at the early age of 7 in the small southern town of Monroe, North Carolina. Like most kids RJ dreamed of becoming a superstar like his favorite music heros Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Sam Cooke and Otis Redding to name a few. RJ's mother was a big music inspiration in those early years when she brought out the record collection every Friday night and played 'the greats'. While the records played RJ would put on his own show with his brother and sisters laughing at his every move. Little did they know RJ would never stop until he made it to the top. Life wasn't always fun like on those Friday nights. Like many young kids Ralph grew up tough. His mother raised four kids as a single parent in rough times. Although Ralph knew his father, he was rarely around to support RJ's dreams. Friends and family were his driving force. Along the way RJ tried working with many different people but always ended up unsatisfied and forever searching for that RJ sound. In 2005 after ending yet another music production disappointment RJ almost called it quits. To his surprise, he was about to meet a couple of guys that believed in his music vision and signed him to a independent record deal with EBR Records. For the first time RJ was about to create his first album with an unbelievable sound that is truly unique to RJ Adams. RJ is often asked to describe his music. He simply says with confidence, 'It's feel good music - the kind of music your kids can listen to, the kind of music you can make new kids with and the music that will make any woman love her man and any man love his woman'. As RJ says, if you can't sing your lyrics anywhere to anyone, why sing it ? One of the biggest breaks for RJ was when he performed "live" March 2007 in Las Vegas on Pay Pre-view . The Pay Pre-View event aired in 15 countries where 120 million viewers tuned in world wide. If you like Funk, R&B, Urban Pop and Soul you will love the music of RJ Adams. RJ delivers a strong positive message that reflects back to the days of Marvin Gaye when music was about being in love, living life and enjoying the positive music vibe.
