From the beginning, the goal of this recording was honesty. Honesty to the music, the subjects covered and most importantly, to the artist himself. The album has been called 'raw' and 'under-produced' by some and 'amateurish' by others. I make no appologies for this. The album was written, performed, recorded, etc, etc, etc by me alone in my humble home studio. No additional musicians were hired to play parts and no outside mastering was used. In essence, what you'll hear in this recording is me. Straight to the point, pulling no punches and making the best music I could. The plain truth of it is, I am a workman. I do what must be done to get the job done and hope that my efforts prove to have been up to the task. I've never considered myself anything more. Sure I play a bunch of instruments and can actually carry a tune but, as an artist, I'm pretty sure no-one will ever consider me amongst the greats of musical history. In the short description, I mentioned that the album has a single message. I could tell you what that message is but, where's the fun in that? My hope, is that those who actually give the album a listen, a real listen, will hear and more importantly feel that message. If you are one of those people that does, I hope you'll share it with your friends and family members. That's the real point of making music after all. Sharing ideas and emotions.
