Where the Future Lies
Ross M. Levy is a graduate of the Maurice Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Hartford. He has been involved in the world of Jewish music since his early teen years. He is currently the Director of Student Life at Jewish Community High School of Gratz College in Philadelphia. In recent years, Ross has performed in many areas of the East coast appearing in congregations for special Shabbat and Havdalah services as well as leading song sessions at conclaves sponsored by NFTY and the Union for Reform Judaism. Ross recently completed his new CD entitled Where The Future Lies, which includes all original music for many of the well-known prayers we use every Shabbat. His style of music is pleasing to all ages from teens to seniors and has received accolades from congregations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Ross' own T'filat Haderech/ Never Walk Alone was chosen to be a part of the RUACH SERIES 5767 which is produced by the URJ. Ross is available for musical Artist-in-Residence weekends, Rock Shabbat services, Havdallah services, as well as other unique Jewish musical experiences. His concerts include both Jewish and non-Jewish music for young adults and people of all ages. His original style of acoustic rock really brings something special to the world of Jewish music.
