Rudy Hawk-My Story
Rudy Hawk served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, and often performed his musical talents for service personnel when deployed overseas and ashore stateside. Following retirement from active duty, his early venture at a full-time career in country music had some success, however it would soon become secondary when he returned to work for the Navy in a civilian capacity. Over the years Rudy has entertained at a variety of clubs on the West and East coast, including a guest performance on radio station WGTB in Washington, DC. The songs Hawk wrote for inclusion in this collection are primarily a tribute to The Creator, and reflect his Christian background. Songs such as 'When He Knocks On Your Door' and 'A Better Day Tomorrow' also allude to his American Indian heritage. Now residing in Eastern Ohio, Rudy continues to play and sing before live audiences. With his pleasant sounding singing style, he is a popular entertainer at churches in the region.
