Sam Seaborne grew up in Roxbury, Massachusetts in a family encompassed with music and the warmth and comfort of a Christian home. Growing up as a child, both his parents were instrumental in his love of music and the word of God. At a young age Sam was encouraged by both parents and exposed to a variety of music that range from the very classical opera's to the very spiritual gospels. His love of music eventually took him to another part of the country, where he attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. His skills in athleticism, theater and in the classroom gave him a wide variety of activities during his years at Morehouse. Although, none as fulfilling as the time spent with the Morehouse College Glee Club and the Atlanta Gospel Movement. Not only did the Glee Club help add to his repertoire of musical skills, it also exposed him to many different cultures in their travels across the Atlantic Ocean and up the eastern seaboard. He graduated in 1976 with a degree in Business and returned back to Roxbury where he later found a job with a company in Boston. He was transferred back to Atlanta where he now resides with his four daughters, who are all musically talented in their own right. In 1998, Sam began taking voice lessons from Roger Beale of the Voice House in College Park, Georgia. Roger has since become a good friend and mentor. Sam is a thriving member of his Church where naturally he sings in the choir.
