Wish I'd Done That Too
Samantha Griffin, 15, a sophmore in high school, has been sing all of her life. She has a special love for country music and Dolly Parton. Tennessee has been a vacation spot for the family for many years, and in 2004 Sam had a chance encounter with the Legendary Billy Walker. A friendship ensued and Mr. Walker invited hSam and her dad, Floyd to appear on WSM's Midnight Jamboree! Since that time they returned to Nashville to cut the CD Wish I'd Done That Too. Floyd rounded up members of the Grand Ole Opry to collaborate and produce the CD. Charlie Lilly-Producer can be found on bass, Rick Wright on lead, Charlie Vaughn playing banjo, mandolin, fiddle and rythym, Ric McClure on drums, Tommie White on steel and Clay Rigdon on the piano. The CD was recorded at Bayou Studios in Nashville. This group came together and produced a traditional country sound that is sure to be enjoyed.
