Samuel Wallace takes you on a spiritual up-lift with his newest release recorded at Daywind Studios. Samuel's smooth voice and meaningful lyrics toch you in each song. Samuel's singing style was influenced by greats like Sam Cooke and Lionel Ritchie. Their impact on Samuel's music is clear on this album. With the help of Marty Funderburk, a prolific vocalist and songwriter in Nashville, TN. The background vocal arrangements on this CD come to a new level. Add to the mix Mark Hornsby, an engineer who has worked with recording artists such as BeBe Winans and Travis Tritt, the result is a CD filled with years of expertise. Now that the recording is complete, Samuel is on the road to promote his new CD entitled, 'I Can Go On'. While visiting radio and retail Samuel will perform live in selected cities. Samuel began his musical ambitions at an early age singing with his church choir in Lexington, KY. Having a passion for entertaining he taught himself to play drums and continued to perfect his vocals. By the age of thirteen he joined his first local band. During his teen years Samuel won various talent shows, awards and was named Number One Tenor in the Kentucky State Chorale competition his senior year of high school. In 1983 Samuel joined the United States Army. While serving his country Samuel and other soldiers formed a gospel group that toured Korea, earning awards for Morale Support. Samuel also auditioned for the Army Soldier Show, and was selected one of thirty from a group of six thousand troops who auditioned world wide. The show toured the U.S. ending in Washington, DC performing for then President Ronald Reagan and Secretary of State, Casper Wineberger. After leaving the military Samuel started performing R&B shows which led to his first National Recording Contract on Pure Polygram Records. Going back to his roots, Samuel released a contemporary Gospel CD entitled, 'God Will Get You Through It'. The CD elevated Samuel's career to new heights and opportunities. After performing R&B for several years, Samuel realized that his heart is in Gospel and went back in the studio. 'I Can Go On' is the result of Samuel rededicating his talents to God. 2007 is a new beginning.
