The best kept Industrial/Harsh EBM secret in town. Scrape has been around for quite a few years producing high quality underground music. What immediately strikes the listener when listening to their full length Cruelest Intentions is the quality with which the music is crafted. Frontman Erik puts all his guts into his singing and the electronics behind are just great. They are galaxies away from today's copy/paste industrial artists and their songwriting is really original. All the usual ingredients are here, distorted vocals, scary synth lines, killer bass grooves but there's something more. Maybe it's that DIY feeling, maybe it's the powernoise elements. The only comparisons I can think of are Diverje and Andraculoid. Definitely an album that would fit on the DSBP catalogue. Also the fact that they chose self release demonstrates that these are real artists with something to say. If you need more proof try to catch one of their live shows !!! Pure, raw energy.
