Product Notes

The Senticsphere have been laying down their brand of emotionally charged rock, since 2005. Taking a steady and consistent approach has allowed the group to evolve as an artist and develop a dedicated fan base within their country and abroad. In 2006, they released their first EP entitled \'Waking the Sun\' produced by heavyweight engineer Jay Mauza (Everclear, Kd Lang, Foo Fighters). Their single \'More\' made it\'s way across oceans to be on the 2008 Australian Motorsport DVD \'Gazza Nationals\'. They\'ve also gained attention from, and had brief working relationship with, Universal/Motown act \'The Veer Union\'. The Senticsphere has won many online awards on the highly regarded site \'garageband.com\' for Track of the week (twice), Best Male vocals in Hard Rock, Best Programming in Hard Rock and Best Guitars in Acoustic. They played in the 2008 Emergenza Festival to a highly receptive audience, reaching a fevered pitch by night\'s end, they won the final in Vancouver. In Montreal at Le Medley, they played to an enthusiastic crowd and industry panel to receive 2nd in the nation as \'Best Unsigned Talent\' after playing against 200 bands through 5 months. They are currently recording their full length album at Greenhouse and The Factory in Vancouver BC, with JMP. Producing is Jay \'Juice\' Evjen (Wide Mouth Mason, Age of Electric, Hot Hot Heat). Their most recent offering, the 2008 EP is currently available online through many digital retail stores. The Senticsphere are a high energy rock group that delivers memorable songs, big moments and stands to be recognized as a serious emerging talent. WHAT REVEIWERS HAVE SAID ABOUT TRACKS FROM \' WAKING THE SUN \' Tight! Nice tight band with alot of good grooves. Guitars,Bass, and drums work really good in this song. The performance, and production are spot on. Extra Credit: Guitars, Drums, Bass, Production, Beat, Originality. - gregcharlie Ardmore, Oklahoma September 28th, 2007 Mesmorizing From the beginning of the musical intro through the lyrics, this one kept my interest. The music and vocals were well balanced, ensuring nothing got lost. Vocals were interesting, unique but not unfamiliar. Production was good, a strong song. Extra Credit: Male Vocals. - Copenhaver Vancouver, Bc, Canada October 20th, 2007 very cool I really digg the song. Musically it was interesting to listen to. The guitar solo sounds cool and fits the song really well. The production on the song sounds great. The singer did a good job and showed some pretty good range. Over all, the recording was really tight and professional sounding. - Outlaw_Jones Suburban, New Jersey October 8th, 2007 Air guitar slingin\' intro... Man in my teenage days I\'d a been slammin\' and slashin\' through the air on this one. Overall I like this song, love the choppy rhythms, nice break at 2:25, bass is great through that part. I Like you guys alot. I\'d come see ya play. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Production, Beat, Mood, Most Rocking Track. - jimsmith007 New Orleans, Louisiana September 3rd, 2007 perfect circle nice tight crunchy guitar tone, vocals have a definite tool or perfect circle influence, vocal harmonies are sweet and on the spot to make the sound thick but not distracting from the lead, mix is as close to perfect as u can get i can hear all the parts crisp and the energy of the performance comes thru loud and clear - RinaTheAxe Philadelphia, Pennsylvania August 14th, 2007 great riffs! The performance sounds very pro and seems like you´ve played together for a while! Production sounds ready for radio, real nice! ^#^and the song catches you right away, good job! Extra Credit: Guitars, Production. - bellospublicos Caracas, Miranda, Venezuela September 18th, 2007 PICK UP \' WAKING THE SUN \' AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF! Cheers, The Senticsphere.
