No Drummer No Mercy
After years of barren musical horizons on offer by mainstream music, a thaw begins. This thaw awakens the beasts of creativity in 3 music adventurers that came to a crest in the spring of 2005. A disorderly weekend in Montreal by A-Punk leads to volunteering his talents as an opening act, by questionable inebriated means. With the months flying by and the green beer well digested, our first Punk realizes he needs assistance. Looking into his not too distant musical past, A-Punk recruits G-Punk. G-Punk then searches out J-Punk. Luckily, J-Punk is available and agrees to a weekend of Montreal debauchery with the excuse of driving 5 hours to play 25 minutes of music that was written in the previous week. Amazingly, they make it through virtually unscathed, meeting new comrades in the process. After realizing that the music making is as entertaining as the weekend itself, it's thought this might just work for a bit longer. The S'Punks raison d'être: forget the past experiences of â€-serious' music making and, dare we, just have a good f***ing time. The contagious effect of this S'Punk mantra spills over to the audience, so let's throw down until the fun fades on another lost weekend.
