Inspired by the like of Nirvana, KISS and Black Sabbath, Solewire formed in 1999 in Sweden. While perfecting their live performance, Solewire was selling demos as quickly as they were producing them. Now, Azimuth Records introduces Solewire to the world. Playing live all over Northern Europe, Solewire has proven to be the perfect blend of melodic soundscapes (U2, Coldplay), combined with heavy grunge groove (Soundgarden, Alice in Chains),. The band's familial bond makes feeding off one another during live performances seem natural, which translates directly to the album. Tracks such as Bloody Mary, Today Tomorrow Never, and Blue Scent deal with very profound themes; family tribulations, adolescent misfortune, and relationship issues all speak volumes in 'The Mourning After'. It's underlying premise cause great self-reflection and thought. Dig a little deeper with 'The Mourning After'
