Sumthin' Lethal has the drive and talent to become two of the greatest entertainers of all time. So they would like to take this time to tell you a little more about themselves. Jamie 'Lady-J' Stokes not only has a love for music she is a hard working student in her sophomore year at I.U.P.U.I. striving to achieve a degree in social work. She started writing and performing at the tender age of 13. She use to enter contest at the local skating rink and teen clubs with her best friend. Leaving music alone for some years she decided to focus on her schoolwork and her desire to help others. But on a Christmas break she met her soon to be partner in rhyme Lamont 'Top-Notch' Stokes and after some encouragement and guidance she decided to once again start creating beautiful music. After going to the studio she knew that she had to release her love of music for the world to hear. Lamont 'Top-Notch' Stokes is a hard working entrepreneur who has had a love for music since the young age of 7. Inspired by the incredible Michael Jackson studying his dance moves and vocal patterns, he quickly developed his own style. Writing R&B music and his first rap song at the age of 10 he decided that music was his way to talk to the world. With hip-hop starting to get popular in the mid 80's early 90's Lamont started to rap and was then influenced by the late great Tupac Shakur rapping came easy but no one would produce the music for a demo. With this in mind he listened to producers like Timbaland, Devante Swing, Teddy Riley, and R. Kelly to create a production style all his own. Lamont has done several commercials on the radio and TV and has even had a solo single on the radio.
